# When should I review my progress?

*The Great Teaching Toolkit development cycle is a three-stage, evidence-informed process that supports personalised professional development by helping teachers set goals, build understanding, develop skills, and reflect on changes in their practice. It is a personal space for teachers to record and reflect on their own professional development, and the content can only be viewed by the teacher, unless they choose to share it.*

At any stage of the development cycle, you can choose to **review your progress**. Here you will be able to:

- Revisit your original **goal** and **success indicators**
- Reflect on your **progress** and outcomes
- Collate **feedback, evidence** and **key insights**
- **Set next steps** for development

A review does not always mean the end of your development cycle; in fact, a review can be completed as often as you like. Many teachers choose to complete a review at the end of a school term, or to support in developmental conversations with line managers. You’ll be able to decide what to include from your **learning log** in your review and if you would like to export it for sharing. Each review will be saved for you to view, edit or delete at any time.
