As an Induction Tutor, you can head to your monitoring area. On the "Participants Overview" panel, you can select the checkboxes of one or more participants in your school (or all at once), and then a "Send Message" option will appear as in the screenshot below.
From there, simply enter a title and your message to send the notification.
