# How do I use Prism for the Excellence in Reception Teaching Programme?

Prism is the platform used by the National Institute of Teaching for accessing and completing your ERT programme.

When you log in, your homepage provides an overview of your programme, including your progress and the activities available to you.

**Your programme**

The programme dashboard displays the different stages of your learning journey. You can use this overview to identify your current position, see which activities are available and monitor your progress towards completing the programme.

**Your teaching diagnostic**

Prism also provides access to your teaching diagnostic. This area contains activities designed to help you reflect on your teaching practice and identify areas for development.

**Navigating Prism**

Use the navigation menu on the left-hand side to access the different sections of the platform, including your programme and diagnostic activities. Return to your homepage whenever you need an overview of your progress.

**Getting started**

Log in to Prism and familiarise yourself with your homepage. Review your programme dashboard and begin working through the activities available to you, using the platform to keep track of your progress.

If you have difficulty accessing your programme or navigating the platform, contact your programme administrator for support.
