How is my data protected?

Your data is handled carefully and securely. This means: 

• recordings are stored securely within NIoT systems;

• recordings are only accessible to you, and to your mentor if you choose to share them;

• access to the tool is protected by 2‑factor authentication;

• transcripts used for research have names and other identifying details removed;

• recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days;

• you can delete your recordings at any time (see “Can I delete recordings?” for more details).
