# How often should I use the Lesson Recording tool?

Only as much as it’s helpful for you. 

As a guide, recordings can be used to alternate with in‑person mentor drop-ins, in line with the normal mentoring cycle. For example: 

- **ECT Year 1:** fortnightly

- **ECT Year 2:** monthly

For your own reflection, you can use the tool as often as you find useful.
