Why can’t I see the Lesson Recording tool in Prism?

If you can’t see the Lesson Recording tab, it usually means your school’s setup hasn’t been completed in Prism yet.

Before the tool appears for ECTs and mentors, the Induction Tutor needs to:

  • complete the required onboarding steps, and
  • confirm in their PRISM account that these steps are complete.

Until this confirmation is recorded in Prism, the Lesson Recording tool won’t be visible.

You can check with your Induction Tutor whether the setup is still in progress, or whether your school has decided not to enable lesson recording.
