As an Induction Tutor, can I conduct mentoring drop-ins on the ECTs in my school?

This article is specific to schools accessing the GTT as part of the National Institute of Teaching's ECF Programme.

Yes! As one of the most-requested improvements, this was a priority to enable Induction Tutors to join/add drop-ins or meetings with any of the ECTs in your school.

The way this works is that Induction Tutors in a school have now been added to each Mentor/ECT pairing, to make a "team" of three, so whether or not you are paired as an ECT's mentor, their meetings and shared workspace will now appear in your Mentoring page.

In the screenshot below, this Induction Tutor is not the assigned mentor for "NIoT ECT", but here they are able to edit and create meetings, or join the ECT's shared workspace to provide feedback or add actions, in just the same way as the assigned mentor can.
