Some ECF participants haven't received their GTT login at a school, while others have.

This article is specific to schools accessing the GTT as part of the National Institute of Teaching's ECF Programme.

There are a few things to check if an ECF participant has not received a login: 

  • The Induction Tutor should check their DfE portal to see which email address is registered for the participant; if the link has been sent, it will have gone to that email address. 
  • It takes up to a week from registering a colleague on DfE for it to filter to us and then to GTT to generate an account, so may be a matter of waiting a few days. The same will also be true if changes are made to details on the DfE portal. 
  • Check it’s not gone to junk mail (in this case, please ask your IT department to whitelist emails from the domains @evidencebased.education and @mail.evidencebased.education to ensure this doesn't happen in future).
  • If you can see the ECT on your ECF Dynamics account, but you still have no luck, please contact your regional NIoT support team who will be able to advise.
